ALTER is a conscious movement experience held in Bengaluru, run by Aryan Mewara (ARME), operating as an individual. Booking a place means you accept these terms.

What you are booking

A place for one person (or two, if you book for two) at a single ALTER event on the date shown when you book. A place is not a membership, a course, or a series.

The price shown at the moment of booking is the price you pay. Prices rise as places are taken; a price you saw earlier does not apply once it has moved.

Who can come

• You must be 18 or over.
• Come substance-free. Anyone who arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be let in, and no refund is due.
• The gate closes at the time stated for the event and does not reopen. Arriving after it closes means you cannot enter, and no refund is due.

The agreements in the room

The room runs on a set of agreements, shown in full on the booking page: no talking on the floor, phones away, no photography, no spectating, respect for everyone present, and no means no. Anyone who cannot hold them will be asked to leave, and no refund is due.

Your health

This is physical movement, sometimes vigorous, for as long as three hours. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own wellbeing: rest when you need to, and move within your own limits.

If you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or have a heart, joint, breathing or other medical condition, please take medical advice before booking, and tell us on WhatsApp before the event so we can hold the room well for you.

Bring nothing valuable. We cannot take responsibility for belongings left in the venue.

Photography

Guests do not film. We occasionally photograph or film parts of an evening for ALTER's own use. If you would rather not appear, tell us when you arrive and we will keep you out of frame.

Cancellations, transfers and refunds

If we have to change or cancel

If we move or cancel an event, you may take the new date or receive a full refund. Beyond the price you paid, we are not liable for other costs, such as travel.

Your details

We use the name, email and phone number you give us to confirm your booking, send reminders and run the door list. See the Privacy Policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
